Section 36(3)(a) in The Wild Life (Protection) (Madhya Pradesh) Rules, 1974

(a)Any member of the Forest Department or an officer appointed under sub-section (1) of Section 4 may require any person to stop within the limit of the sanctuary or National Park as the case may be, or at the entrance gate for purposes of checking and may demand the permit granted under this Chapter to be produced for inspection.
