(2)In cases where acceptance to tenders falls beyond the competence of the Executive Engineer, he shall send the tenders to the [Superintending Engineer or Chief Engineer, as the case be may be] [See Legislative Supplement Part III dated 23rd June, 1989.] accompanied by comparative and financial statements, with his own recommendations.
