Section 15(1) in Right of children to Free and compulsory Education Rules, 2011
(1)In performance of the functions specified in sub-section (1) of section 24 and in order to fulfill the requirements of clause (h) of sub-section (2) of section 29, the teacher shall maintain a file containing the pupil cumulative record for every child which shall be the basis for awarding the completion certificate specified in sub-section (2) of section 30.
