Section 16(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)The candidate of diploma/post, diploma/post graduate diploma course shall be allowed to keep term with Back Paper provided that he/she fails in not more than two requirements of theory and/or practical.
