(1)This Act may be called the Delhi University Act, 1922.(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [1st May, 1922, see Gen.R. & O., Vol.V, p.49; Gazette of India, 1922, Pt.I, p.384.] as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct.
