Section 74(1) in Manipur International University Act, 2018
(1)Whoever indulges or indulged in the forgery or impersonation or fraud or unauthorized duplication of any document of the. University or anybody / authority connected with the University or as any person, officer, faculty, staff, teacher without such authority to do so or unless authorized / without any permission by the Chancellor shall be a cognizable offence and shall on conviction be punishable with a minimum fine of rupees ten million which may extend to rupees hundred million or with an imprisonment for a term of six months which may extend to five years or with both.
