(1)The Election Authority shall, subject to such directions as may be issued by the Government, by notification in Form 3, published in the Official Gazette, call upon on such date or dates as may be specified therein, to elect members of the Board in accordance with the provisions of the Act and these rules.(2)The notification issued under sub-rule (1) shall specify the last date for making nominations, the date for scrutiny of nominations, the last date for withdrawal of candidature, the place and date on which and the time during which the poll shall, if necessary, be held.(3)On the issue of the notification under sub-rule (1), the Returning Officer shall give public notice of the intended election for the members of the Board in Form 4 in Urdu, Hindi and English/local language newspapers having circulation in the area.
