Karnataka Prevention Of Fragmentation And Consolidation Of Holdings (Repeal) Act, 1990[02nd February, 1991](Act No. 04 of 1991)
An Act to repeal the Karnataka Prevention of Fragmentation and consolidation of Holdings Act, 1966.Whereas it is expedient to repeal of Karnataka Prevention of Fragmentation of Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1966 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1967).Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Forty-first Year of Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement

(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings (Repeal) Act, 1990.
(2)It shall come into force at once.

2. Repeal of Karnataka Act 1 of 1967 and Savings

(1)The Karnataka Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of, Holdings Act, 1966 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1967) is hereby repealed;Provided that the repeal shall not affect,-
(a)the previous operation of the repealed Act or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or
(b)any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or-incurred under the repealed Act; or
(c)any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the provisions of the repealed Act: or,
(d)any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture, or punishment as aforesaid: and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remady may be instituted, continued or enforced;
And any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment maybe imposed as if the repealed Act has not been repealed.
