68. Roofs [Sections 8(2) and 25(2)(f)].
- Every roof shall be weather proof and fire resistant and in no case shall be built of mat, sirki, cloth, grass or thatch or any other easily inflammable material and it shall be structurally safe against dead and live loads as prescribed in rule 64 above and prevailing wind pressure.(2)Subject to above provision, every roof shall be of any material and specification as prescribed in chapter 13 of Punjab Works Department.
