32. Veterinary Sciences Extension Service.
(1)The University shall establish the Veterinary Science Extension Service for the purpose of ,-(a)undertaking extension programmes in a phased manner covering the entire state of Andhra Pradesh in such manner may be determined by the Government in consultation with the Board;(b)dissemination of information for the solution of problem relating to Veterinary and Fishery Fields;(c)establishment of youth clubs for developing the interests of young people in Veterinary Sciences; and(d)for such other purposes as may be prescribed.(2)The Board shall appoint in the manner prescribed a person who has expertise in Veterinary Sciences as the Director of Veterinary Sciences Extension Service. He shall be responsible for dissemination of such information and planning and execution of programmes of extension work based upon the results on research.
