Section 16 in The Naval And Aircraft Prize Act, 1971
16. Indemnity against legal proceedings.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, no suit, prosecution or other lagel proceedings shall lie against any officer of the Armed Forces of the Union or any other person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules made thereunder.(2)Save as otherwise expressly provided under this Act, no suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Central Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules made thereunder.
