(1)There shall be a Planning and Monitoring Board consisting of,-(i)the Vice-Chancellor (Chairman);(ii)four from among the Principals of University and Professional Colleges, Deans/Chairman of Faculties nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(iii)two educationists nominated by the Government;(iv)two nominees of the University Grants Commission.(2)The Board shall be the principal planning and reviewing body and it shall also arrange for periodical, monitoring of the developmental programmes and of teaching and research in the University.
