(1)The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, namely : -Class I-Ex-Officio Members.(a)The Vice-Chancellor;(b)The Commissioner of Art and Culture;(c)The Deans of faculties;(d)Director of Libraries;(e)Principals of all Government Music Colleges;(f)Principals of all Government College of Fine Arts;(g)Principal of Government College of Architecture and Sculpture, Mamallapuram;(h)[ principal of Kalaikaveri Fine Arts College, Tiruchirappalli.] [Inserted by Act No. 16 of 2016, dated 14.09.2016, publish dated 15.09.2016.]Class II - Other Members.Eight persons nominated by the Vice-Chancellor who are known for their outstanding contribution in the field of music, fine arts and performing arts.
