Section 93(3) in The M.P. Bhumi Vikas Rules, 1984

(3)General. - The following signs are prohibited along National Highways, State Highways, and other major roads of width exceeding 18
(a)any sign that by reason of its shape, position or colour may be confused with an authorised traffic sign or signal;
(b)any sign containing the word "Stop" "Lock" "Danger" or other similar word that might mislead or confuse the travellers;
(c)any sign that is attached to or printed on a rock or other natural objects; and
(d)any sign that is located within a public right-of-way unless it is an official street name, traffic signs or signal or other official sign.
