Section 6(3)(i) in Indira Gandhi Technological and The Medical Sciences University Act, 2012

(i)Notwithstanding anything contained in the aforesaid provisions, the University shall ensure that the academic standards of the course offered by the University are in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and other statutory bodies as the case may be.
