6. Teaching of the University.
(1)All recognized teaching in connection with the degrees, diplomas and certificates of the University shall be conducted, under the control of the Governing Council, by the teachers of the University, in accordance with syllabus prescribed by the regulations of the University.(2)The course and curricula and the authorities responsible for organizing such teaching shall be as prescribed by regulations.(3)(i)Notwithstanding anything contained in the aforesaid provisions, the University shall ensure that the academic standards of the course offered by the University are in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and other statutory bodies as the case may be.(ii)The appointment, qualification and emoluments and teacher-student ratio shall as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and specific councils.
