(2)The members of the Committee shall be-(i)the Vice-Chancellor-ex-officio Chairman;(ii)the Dean of the Faculty in the subject;(iii)the Head of the [University Department] [These words were substituted for the word 'Department' by Gujarat 8 of 1966, Section 17.] concerned;(iv)four persons having special knowledge of the subject for which the professor or reader is to be appointed to be selected by the Syndicate:Provided that two of them shall be persons who are not Fellows or members of any Faculty or teachers of the University;
