31M. Special market and special commodity market.
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare any market area as `Special Market' or `Special Commodity Market' having regard to the factors such as turnover, area, nature of produce, special infrastructure requirements" of particular commodity and such other factors as it may deem fit, also in addition to the existing market.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) of section 11, the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, establish separate market committee for effective implementation of provisions of this Act for the market notified under sub-section (1).(3)All provisions relating to the market committee made in the Act shall mutatis mutandis apply to the market committee established under sub-section (2).
