Section 55(2) in The West Bengal University of Health Sciences Act, 2002
(2)The Vice-Chancellor shall cause every University Department or institution, affiliated college or recognised institution to be inspected, at least once in every three years, by one or more committee or committees appointed by him in that behalf. Each committee shall consist of the following members, namely :-(a)a Dean nominated by the Vice-Chancellor-Chairperson;(b)one expert, not connected with the University, nominated by the Academic Council;(c)one expert to be nominated by the Executive Council :Provided that no member of such committee shall be connected with the management of the college or the institution concerned.
