1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1997.(2)[ It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1997.] [Substituted by Act No. 21 of 2011, dated 19.5.2012.]
