28. Director of Research.
(1)There shall be a Director of Research who shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor of the University for the direction and co-ordination of research programmes in the fields concerned as set forth in section 37 of this Act, and efficient working of the research stations.(2)The Director of Research shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be conferred or imposed on him by the Statutes.
