(1)The Indian Lunacy Act, 1912 (4 of 1912)and the Lunacy Act, 1977 (25 of 1977) are hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under either of the said Acts shall, insofar as such thing or action is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act and shall continue in force until superseded by anything done or any action taken under this Act.
