Section 3(1) in The Goa, Daman And Diu Land Revenue Code, 1968
(1)The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute the territories, to which this Code extends, into one or more districts, and may similarly divide any district into sub-divisions, sub-divisions into talukas and talukas into villages and may alter the limits of; or abolish, any district, sub-division or taluka.
