Section 12 in Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2015
12. Election of Street Vendors as the member of Town vending committee.
(1)The local authority shall by a notification express its intention to conduct election of the members of a Town Vending Committee representing the street vendors of the area under the jurisdiction of that local authority.(2)The concerned local authority shall appoint a returning officer for conducting the election of members of the Town Vending Committee representing the street vendors of the area under its jurisdiction.
