40. Roof Top Solar Photovoltaic Installation.
- For rooftop solar photovoltaic installation and generation, the following provisions shall be applicable , as amended from time to time, namely :-| Table 52Norms for Roof Top Solar Photovoltaic Installation | ||

| II. | All private educational institutes schools,colleges, hostels, technical / vocational educational institute,universities etc. having connected load of 30 KWp and above | Minimum 5 kilo watt peak (KWp) or 5% of connected load,whichever is higher. |
| III. | All government building and offices and governmentcolleges, government educational institutions, universities,having connected load of 30 KWp and above | Minimum 2 Kilo Watt peak (KWp) or 5% of whichever is higher. |
| IV. | All private hospitalsand nursing homes industrial establishments, commercial malls,hotels, motels, banquet halls, and tourism complexes havingconnected load of :-(a)50 KWp to 1000 KWp(b) Above 1000 KWp | Minimum 10 Kilo Watt peak or 5% of connected load, which ishigherMinimum 50 Kilo Watt peak or 3% of connected load, which ishigher |
