Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Electricity Grid Code, 2005
1. Short title and commencement.
- (i) This code may be called "Tamil Nadu Electricity Grid Code".(ii)The provisions of this code shall come into effect on the date of its publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.(iii)The date of commencement for provisions under sections 4 (1) (e) and 4 (2) (f) of this Code is subject to the transitional provisions of section 172 of Electricity Act 2003 where in the State Government may, by notification, authorize the State Electricity Board to continue to function as State Transmission Utility or a licensee for such further period as may be mutually decided by the Central Government and the State Government.
