Section 19 in The Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985
19. Fixation of price of opium.
(1)The Central Government shall, from time to time, fix the price of opium, to be paid to the cultivators, in such manner as it may deem fit.(2)Such price shall be fixed per kilogram of opium of a standard consistence.
