156. Powers of District Panchayat to undertake works etc. on behalf of Government to give technical advice.
(1)It shall be lawful for a district panchayat to undertake upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon, the construction, maintenance or repair of any work or the management of any institution on behalf of Government, any local authority, any Corporation incorporated under any law for the time being in force and owned or controlled by the Government or the Court of Wards.(2)It shall be lawful for a district panchayat to give, on such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon, technical advice and guidance to a local authority in respect of the construction of any work undertaken by such local authority.(C)Property and Fund
