46. Appointment to the posts of teachers and officers.
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and Statutes, the Bihar State University (Constituent College) Service Commission shall perform the same functions, to the extent possible, in the matter of appointments to the posts of teachers and officers of the University (other than the Vice-Chancellor and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor) as are entrusted to it.(2)The Bihar State University (Constituent College) Service Commission shall abide by the condition laid down in section 47 of this Act in recommending appointments to every post of teacher or officer of the University.
