Section 56(1) in New Town, Kolkata Development Authority Act, 2007
(1)The Development Authority may require any owner or owners of land or building within the area of New Town, Kolkata to upgrade a private street with such land or building in respect of such items of work and in conformity with such standard as may be prescribed.
