10. Constitution of Departmental Promotion Committee.

(1)There shall be a Departmental Promotion Committee to consider the cases of eligible Primary Investigators and Statistical Assistants for promotion to the post of Statistical Assistant and Statistical Investigator respectively.
(2)The committee shall consist of the following officials, namely :
(i) Director ... Chairman
(ii) A representative of the P. and C. Deptt. not below the rank ofDeputy Secretary ... Member
(iii) An Officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary of anotherDeptt. to be nominated by the Chairman ... Member
(iv) Senior-most Joint Director ... Member
