25.01.2022
Ct-24 WPA 21370 of 2021 Antara Das (Ganguly) v.
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Uday Sankar Chattopadhyay Mr. Santanu Maji Ms. Snigdha Saha Mr. Pronay Basak Mr. Trisha Rakshit ... for the petitioner.
Mr. Ratul Biswas ... for the Board.
The matter relates to TET, 2014 Examination. Petitioner submits that she scored 80 marks in the TET, 2014 Examination and 6 marks ought to be awarded to her in view of the wrong questions set by the Board.
Pursuant to the leave granted by this Court on January 7, 2021 in WPA 295 of 2021 (Tapabrata Roy & Ors. v. The State of West Bengal & Ors.), the petitioner applied for recruitment in the offline mode.
Petitioner's grievance is that her name was not included in the list of 738 candidates who were called for interview pursuant to the recruitment notice dated December 23, 2020. The petitioner filed this writ application in December 2021.
2Pursuant to the leave granted by this Court in a separate writ application, the petitioner uploaded her grievance in the online portal which was opened by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in December 2021.
The allegation of the petitioner is that no steps have been taken by the Board even after uploading her grievance in the online portal.
Learned advocate representing the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that as the petitioner already applied before the Board pursuant to the notice in December 2021, the Board shall take necessary steps to redress the grievance of the petitioner in due course.
It has further been submitted that all the candidates who applied in the grievance redressal portal of the Board will be intimated the marks obtained by them in the TET, 2014 Examination.
The submission of the Board is that the process is going to take some time.
As it appears that the Board is already taking steps pursuant to the several orders passed by this Court from time to time in this regard, no further order is required to be passed in the instant writ application.
The Board shall take all necessary steps to intimate the marks of the petitioner in TET, 2014 3 Examination and the status of the petitioner in response to the recruitment notice dated December 23, 2020 upon consideration of the details uploaded by her in the online grievance redressal portal of the Board.
The writ petition stands disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
