Section 18 in The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005
18. Authorities of the University.
(1)The following shall be the Authorities of the University, namely :-(i)the Governing Council;(ii)the Academic Council;(iii)the Executive Council;(iv)the Finance Committee; and(v)such other bodies, as may be declared by the Statute to be the Authorities of the University.(2)The Members of the Authorities of the University shall be appointed by such manner and on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed.
