Section 1 in The Punjab Textiles and Sugar (Existing Stocks) Purchase Tax and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1958
1. Short title, extend and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Punjab Textiles and Sugar (Existing Stocks) Purchase Tax and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1958.(2)It extend to the whole of the State of Punjab.(3)Sub-section (1) of section 13 and sub-section (2) of section 18 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 24th March, 1958.
