(1)The Librarian shall be a whole-time officer of the University appointed by the Syndicate on the recommendations of the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose, for such period and on such terms and condition as may be prescribed.(2)The Librarian shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the Syndicate.
