Section 47(1) in The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016
(1)There shall be a School of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj consisting of the following member namely:-(i)The Vice Chancellor-Chairperson(ii)The Director, Training, Publication and Supervision of all schools.(iii)The Director, Centre for Research, Innovation and Evaluation.(iv)Head of School of Skill and Entrepreneurship Development.(v)Director, Department of Rural Development And Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka(vi)Two Presidents of Zilla Panchayats with manifested track record of strengthening local self-Government nominated by the Vice Chancellor(vii)Two Presidents of Grama Panchayats with manifested track record of strengthening local self-government nominated by the Vice Chancellor(viii)Two Chief Executives of Zilla Panchayats with good performance record of strengthening local self-government, nominated by the Vice Chancellor.(ix)One representative from an NGO closely working with Panchayat Raj Institutions nominated by the Vice Chancellor.(x)Head of Department of School of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj - Member Secretary.
