The petitioner before this Court Modern Dental College and Research Center has filed the present petition being aggrieved by order dated 28.02.2019 passed by the Union of India Annexure P-15 and Annexure P-16. By the impugned orders the Institution was directed not to admit the students in BDS as well as MDS Courses for Academic Session 2019-2020.
Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly stated before this Court that the last date to admit students was 30.09.2019 and therefore the first relief prayed by the petitioner has become infructuous. The petitioner is also against the action of the Dental Council of India for withdrawal of recognition and the matter is still pending before the Union of India. He has fairly stated that the present petition be disposed of with direction to the Union of India to pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, and in case any adverse order is passed against the petitioner, a liberty be granted to approach this Court.
The prayer made by the petitioner is a genuine prayer. The petition stands disposed of and the aforesaid prayer made by the petitioner is allowed.
