Section 14 in U.P. District Planning Committee Rules, 2008
14. Uncontested election and declaration of result. -
(1)If the number of candidates is equal to the number of the members to be elected, the Returning Officer shall forthwith declare such candidates to be duly elected member and cause a copy of such declaration to be affixed at his notice board.(2)If the number of elected members of the Zila Panchayat or the Municipalities in the district, as the case may be is equal to, or less than, the number of members to be elected, all the elected members of the Zila Panchayat or the Municipalities in the district, as the case may be, shall be declared as members by the Returning Officer.
