Section 16(1) in Punjab Market Committees Bye-laws
(1)Subject to the provisions of any law for the time being in force in regard to the opening and closing of shops and commerial establishments, the auction and weighment of agricultural produce in the market yard shall be held during the hours to be specified by the Committee.
