(1)If any doubt arises as to whether any lamp or light is of adequate lighting performance or not, it shall be referred to the Chief Inspector for decision.(2)The Chief Inspector may, from time to time, by a general or special order, specify -(a)the type of lamp to be provided to specified categories of persons employed in a mine; or(b)the standard of lighting to be provided in specified areas or places in a mine.
