Section 178(2) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2017
(2)The Chief Inspector may, from time to time, by a general or special order, specify -(a)the type of lamp to be provided to specified categories of persons employed in a mine; or(b)the standard of lighting to be provided in specified areas or places in a mine.
