Section 155(2) in The Manipur Municipalities Act,1994.
(2)Every Nagar Panchayat, or as the case may be. the Council shall provide sufficient and regular supply of drinking water fit for human consumption or for domestic purpose within the jurisdiction of the Nagar Panchayat, or of the Council.
