Section 83(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(1)For the election of the members of the Project Committee, the procedure detailed in this Chapter for the election of the Chairman of the Project Committee shall, mutatis mutandis, be followed in the same sequence, subject to the condition that the candidate elected as Chairman of the Project Committee shall not be eligible to contest for the office of the member of Project Committee but he is eligible to participate in the election of members.
