83. Election procedure.
(1)For the election of the members of the Project Committee, the procedure detailed in this Chapter for the election of the Chairman of the Project Committee shall, mutatis mutandis, be followed in the same sequence, subject to the condition that the candidate elected as Chairman of the Project Committee shall not be eligible to contest for the office of the member of Project Committee but he is eligible to participate in the election of members.(2)The ballot papers shall be prepared containing the names of the contesting candidates in alphabetical order in Form-17.(3)No election is necessary, if the total number of validly nominated candidates is equal to or less than the number of vacancies and all of them shall be declared elected as members of the Managing Committee. Election shall be conducted, if the number of validly nominated candidates exceeds the number of vacancies.
