Section 23(1) in Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur Act, 2019
(1)The Board shall be the highest executive body of the University and shall consist of the following members, namely: -(I)the Vice-Chancellor of the University - Chairman;(II)Ex-officio Members. - (i) the Secretary in charge of Finance Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government;(ii)the Secretary in charge of Higher Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government;(iii)the Secretary in charge of Information and Public Relations Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government;(iv)the Commissioner/Director, Information and Public Relations, Government of Rajasthan;(v)the Commissioner/Director, as the case may be, of College Education, Government of Rajasthan;(vi)the Vice-Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur;(vii)the Pro-Vice-Chancellor; and(viii)the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary.Explanation. - For the purpose of this clause, "Secretary in charge" means the Secretary in charge of the Department and includes an Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary when he is in charge of a department.(III)Nominated Members - (i) two persons nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from amongst the Deans for one year;(ii)two University Professors nominated by the Chancellor for one year;(iii)two eminent educationists to be nominated by the Chancellor for three years;(iv)two members of State Legislature to be nominated by the State Government for three years; and(v)two eminent educationists to be nominated by the State Government for three years.
