(2)The budget as so sanctioned shall be submitted by the [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] Development Officer on or before such date as may be prescribed, to the [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] and where there is no such [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] to the District Collector, and if the [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or the District Collector, as the case may be is satisfied that adequate provision has not been made therein for giving effect to the provisions of this Act, it or he shall have power to approve the budget with such modifications as may be necessary to secure such provisions.
