Section 33 in Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964
33. Supply of water for domestic purpose not to include any supply for certain specified purposes.
- The supply of water for domestic purposes under this Act shall not be deemed to include any supply,-(a)for any trade, manufacture or business;(b)for gardens or for purposes of irrigation;(c)for building purposes;(d)for fountains, swimming baths, public baths or tanks or for any ornamental or mechanical purpose;(e)for animals, where they are kept for sale or hire or for the sale of their produce or any preparation therefrom;(f)for the consumption and use by the inmates of hotels, boarding houses and residential clubs;(g)for the consumption and use by the persons resorting to theatres and cinemas;(h)for constructing or for watering streets; or(i)for washing vehicles where they are kept for sale or hire;[x x x] [Omitted by Act 18 of 1984 w.e.f. 1.12.1964.]
