Section 14(1) in Chhattisagrh Nagarpalika Nirvachan Niyam, 1994
(1)The Election Commission or when so authorised by the Election Commission, the District Election Officer (Municipality) may appoint one or more persons as Assistant Returning Officers (Municipality) to assist the Returning Officer in the performance of his functions.
