(2)It shall be the duty of every police officer -(i)to communicate without delay to the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer or any other officer of the municipality any information which he received in respect of any design to commit, or any commission of, any offence under this Act or the rules or the regulations made there under, and(ii)to assist the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer or any other officer or other employee of the municipality requiring his aid for the lawful exercise of any power vested in the municipality or the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer or such other officer or other employee under this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder.
