Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1959
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1959.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It shall [come into force on such date] [This Act came into force on the 1st day of April 1960.] as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
